Stewarding Real Estate Assets for 2030 Growth Plans

Dear Moody Family:

As the trustees and leadership of Moody move forward in our vision of doubling our impact by 2030, we thank you for your prayer and support. Our key strategies include campus planning for future infrastructure needs, best-in-class technologies, and the investments necessary to grow our educational, broadcasting and publishing impact for the sake of King Jesus.

We firmly believe the Lord calls us in Matthew 25 to be wise stewards of the resources He has entrusted to us, and it is our desire to exemplify the faithful servants who invested the talents given to them by their master for a greater return. In that spirit, and as we re-imagine what a state-of-the-art, urban campus could look like in 2030, we are prayerfully launching an effort to sell some of the non-core portions of our campus real estate to help fund our 2030 growth plan. To that end, we have engaged a global real estate brokerage firm who will provide strategic recommendations to help ensure that we steward well and receive the greatest value from the sale of these properties.

The Lord has strategically placed Moody in the heart of Chicago for such a time as this, and we are excited for this new season of opportunities. 

We are still very early on in this real estate development process and will provide more information and address any questions as plans are finalized.

Please be in prayer that we seek God’s will for this initiative as an important part of our 2030 growth plan and that He remains at the center of all we do!
