Dr. Perry Transitioning from Provost to Faculty Chair

Effective June 30, 2024, Dr. Dwight A. Perry will transition from his role as Senior Vice President, Dean of Education and Provost of the Moody Bible Institute.

We are grateful to Dr. Perry for his leadership at Moody over the past four years, and are excited to share that he will continue his ministry at Moody in a new role, serving as professor of Homiletics and Leadership, and chair of the field of Applied Theology and Global Church Ministries at Moody Theological Seminary.

A veteran of more than 44 years in full-time ministry, including serving as a senior pastor and other ministerial roles, as well as in executive leadership in the Baptist General Conference (now Converge), Dr. Perry’s in-depth experience as a teacher, author, and pastor will be invaluable in his new faculty and chair roles at MTS. We look forward to his leadership in that capacity.

The author or general editor of eight books aimed at blessing and encouraging the local church and its leadership, Dr. Perry has committed his life to equipping and training men and women to live on mission for Jesus Christ.
